Teaching Health & Nursing Informatics
Healthcare Informatics courses and leadership courses highlighting the use of Health IT and data driven decision making are available.
Courses are taught day or evening on Zoom or other platforms. Course management is frequently provided through CANVAS or other educational platforms.
Courses are offered for students in Baccalaureate, Masters, Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) and PhD levels.
As one of the founders of the T.I.G.E.R. Initiative (Technology Informatics Guiding Education Reform), Pat is still involved with T.I.G.E.R.
T.I.G.E.R. is now global and we continue to provide up-to-date content through textbooks used for nursing and inter-professional informatics-related education.
Building on the work of T.I.G.E.R., Pat also contributes to other textbooks generally focusing on the use of mHealth tracking for personal health and wellness, organizational health and wellness and the emerging area of Citizen Science.
